Taylor Gano scored a career-high 18 points and Alta-Aurelia used a 20-10 surge in the second quarter to pull away and beat Ridge View   61-38 in a nonconference game on Monday at Alta.

Alta-Aurelia jumped out to a 14-7 lead after the first quarter. It was 34-17 at halftime and 46-28 heading into the fourth period of play.
