Concert series resumes in SL after long hiatus

Storm Lake High School’s new auditorium will host the new concert series.

Storm Lake’s new auditorium is about to become home to its own performing arts series. Community Education will sponsor six shows in a season that starts in October 2018 and ends in May 2019.

Among the offerings are a group of spirited tenors, a guitar trio and a comedian with “talking dogs.”

Community Ed Director Joe Kucera has put together the series at the request of School Superintendent Carl Turner. “He wanted to get a performing arts series and utilize our beautiful facility,” said Kucera.
