Hy-noon Kiwanis highlights

Ray Detlinger told about the Youth Trapshooting Program with team contests throughout the United States on Nov. 20.

The program requires a certified coach and a place to practice. Teams can be based either in a school or as a club. The Storm Lake program is a club. There are four age divisions within the program. A contest consists of shooting at 100 flying clay targets. The score is the number of targets broken.

Guests are always welcome to visit the Kiwanis club meetings. Call President Dan Anderson, at 732-1271 for more information.
