Storm Lake’s Brayden Hoops is the 2017 Times Player of the

Year after leading the area in rushing touchdowns with 18 and

ranking second in tackles with 87.


Brayden Hoops has always had the supernatural talent to play football at a high level.

But to become a better player, he needed to be a more physical presence.

Hoops became that physical presence during his senior season, running with a purpose, especially in short-yardage situations, and doling out hit after hit while often facing double teams.
