Turnquist helps A-A girls place second at OA-BCIG Invite

Alicia Turnquist finished 12th overall to help Alta-Aurelia to a second-place finish in the OA-BCIG Invitational on Monday at Ida Grove.

Kingsley-Pierson/Woodbury Central was first with 27 points. Alta-Aurelia scored 91. Ridge View was fourth with 129 points.

Turnquist posted a time of 21 minutes, 41 seconds to pace the Warriors. Lily Peterson was 17th in 21:58 and Alexa Frederickson took 19th in 22:05.

Clara Candelario was 20th with a time of 22:12. Jessica Flaherty placed 31st in 23:02, Carly Drenth was 33rd in 23:12 and Kirah Kolpin took 50th in a time of 24:10.
