Field of Dreams is alive with young soccer players Sunday afternoons. Community Ed’s Youth Soccer program has attracted 296 and more are being accepted every day, says coordinator Alison Myrtue.

For the more serious-minded, there is a competitive league, to which about 50 Storm Lake kids, grades 1-9 are registered. They travel to surrounding towns and are coached by José Hernandez.

Lots of adults and high schoolers volunteer to make these programs successful.
