Sioux Central beats Ridge View to shake up district race

Ben Hargens rushed for a career-high 227 yards and two touchdowns as Sioux Central scored 20 unanswered points in the second half to defeat Ridge View 26-7 in a district game last Friday at Holstein.

Sioux Central is now tied for second place in the district with Ridge View and HMS with 3-1 marks. Algona Garrigan is first at 4-0.

Sioux Central opened the scoring on a 5-yard run by quarterback Jake Hanson. The two-point conversion attempt was no good.
