Dale Holtzclaw

Dale Allen “Old Man” Holtzclaw, of Green Forest, Ark., was born July 10, 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Rancil David and Alice Jean (Grubbs) Holtzclaw. He departed this life Sept. 22, 2017 in Green Forest, Ark., at the age of 50 years. 

Dale loved to tinker with old cars, fix things, was a great cook with his specialties being biscuits and gravy and chicken and dumplings. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors camping. He was known for his personal clothing style of a cut-off shirt and cowboy hat.

On March 14, 2009, he was united in marriage with Kelly Jo (Iles) Holtzclaw, who survives him. He is also survived by his two sons, David Holtzclaw and wife, Tasha, of St. Paul, Minn.; Dustin Hawthorne of Pocahontas; brother, David Holtzclaw and wife, Shaylene, of Pocahontas; granddaughter, Kaliena Holtzclaw of St. Paul, Minn.; grandson, Kiel Holtzclaw of St. Paul, Minn.; nephew, Travis Holtzclaw of Pocahontas; two step-sons, Dalton Demers of Sioux City; Brandon Demers of Storm Lake; several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rancil and Alice Holtzclaw; brother, Dennis Holtzclaw; maternal and paternal grandparents.
