Kaleb Sleezer caught a long touchdown pass and had a long touchdown scamper, but it wasn’t enough as Class 1A No. 5-ranked and defending state champion Western Christian got past Alta-Aurelia 36-27 in a district game last Friday at Aurelia.

The Warriors got on the scoreboard first when Nick Gaes caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Logan McCoy.
