N-F finishes first in sportsmanship ratings for baseball

The Twin Lakes Conference has released its sportsmanship ratings for the softball and baseball season this summer.

Newell-Fonda finished first in baseball with an average rating of 1.130. The Mustangs received a 1.11 for players, a 1.06 for coaches, a 1.13 for students and a 1.22 for adults.

Southeast Valley was second with a 1.135 and Sioux Central third with a 1.145. South Central Calhoun was fourth with a 1.188 and Pochontas Area/Laurens-Marathon fifth with a 1.193 rating.
