Freedom Quilts hosts helpers from Orange City

Dianne Roeder and her daughter Katrina Roeder from Orange City mentor for Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors TAPS. They reach out to help other organizations, which they did Monday, July 31 at the Freedom Quilts shop near Varina.

Freedom Quilters had made a quilt for Dianne and Katrina in honor of Dianne’s son and Katrina’s brother SSgt Shawn M. Roeder who died unexpectedly on April 18, 2013.

Both Dianne and Katrina and Katrina’s two daughters came and helped Freedom Quilts make quilts for other fallen heroes’ families.
