Perkins has game of his life in Sioux Central victory

Franky Perkins had a game he will remember for a long time.

The Sioux Central catcher collected three hits, including two home runs, scored two runs and drove in a career-high seven runs to power his team to a 16-4 win over Cherokee in a nonconference game last Wednesday.

Sioux Central scored five runs in the first inning, four in the third, three in the fifth and four more in the sixth.

The Rebels had nine hits in the game. Perkins had two home runs and a single to lead the way. Brady Rusk added two doubles, a single, two runs scored and two RBI.
