One bad inning haunts A-A in loss to Remsen SM

One bad inning haunted Alta-Aurelia yet again.

Remsen St. Mary’s scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away from a close game and the defending state champion Hawks went on to win 7-1 in a nonconference game played last Wednesday at Remsen.

Alta-Aurelia scored a run in the first inning to jump out to a 1-0 lead. However, Remsen St. Mary’s plated two runs in the third for a 2-1 lead before scoring five times in the fifth inning.
