Warriors fall to No. 10 Central Springs, 5-1

The way Hannah Ausenhus was pitching, Anna Dietrich’s two-run home run looked like it was going to be enough.

And it was.

Dietrich hit a home run to give Central Springs an early 3-0 lead and the 10th-ranked Panthers went on to defeat Alta-Aurelia 5-1 in a Class 2A regional final game on Monday night at Manly.

Central Springs advanced to the state tournament for the third year in a row.
