Team scores 13 runs in first 3 innings of win over Sioux Falls

Storm Lake scored 13 runs in the first three innings of the game to build a 12-run lead and the Whitecaps were never threatened after that as they won their fourth straight game by beating Sioux Falls Gold 13-7 on Tuesday at Memorial Field.

The Whitecaps scored three runs in the first inning, four in the second and six in the third to build a 12-1 lead.
