Megan Martin drove in two runs with a double in the top of the seventh inning to help Storm Lake extend a one-run lead as the Tornadoes went on to beat Spencer 10-7 in a Lakes Conference game on Monday at Spencer.

The Tornadoes scored four runs in the second inning to take a 4-0 lead, but Spencer answered with three runs in the bottom half.

Storm Lake scored a run in the third, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and two more in the seventh.
