Olivia Larsen went 3-for-3 and scored four runs, and Ella Larsen pitched a three-hitter as No. 4-ranked Newell-Fonda beat Storm Lake St. Mary’s 14-1 on Wednesday.
Newell-Fonda totaled nine hits in the game. Larsen had a double, a triple and a single. Anna Tiefenthaler singled and drove in three runs, while Melanie Morenz singled and knocked in two runs.
Megan Morenz, Peyton Wilken, Camryn Wilken and Brandi Miller each had a single and drove in a run. Morenz scored twice.
