Alta-Aurelia tops SCC in Twin Lakes

Alicia Turnquist had two hits, scored two runs and drove in three runs, and Abby Kraemer pitched a three-hitter to help give Alta-Aurelia, ranked 11th in Class 2A, a 14-1 win over South Central Calhoun in a Twin Lakes Conference game on Monday at Lytton.

The Warriors scored six runs in the first inning, five in the second and three in the third.

Alta-Aurelia totaled 13 hits in the game. Turnquist, Kraemer, Lily Peterson, Jessica Flaherty and Rowan Kolpin all had two apiece. Kolpin hit a solo home run.
