SM softball team breaks even in WC Invitation

Storm Lake St. Mary’s played in the Woodbury Central Tournament last Saturday and the Panthers came away with a split of a pair of games.

St. Mary’s beat Sioux City North 10-8. The Panthers scored two runs in the seventh inning.

The team totaled 11 hits in the game. Jessica Sandhoff collected three hits and drove in four runs. Hailey Nepple added three hits and scored three runs, while Lexi Vander Woude had three hits and scored two runs.

Abby Jones singled and scored two runs, and Lizzie Lenhart scored three runs.
