Ronald Lubeck

Ronald Lee Lubeck, 66, of Marathon, formerly of Sac City, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Ron was born on June 25, 1950, to Wesley and Wanda (O’Toole) Lubeck in Sac City. He helped Greg Fort as an insurance adjustor for a few years, worked at Hosteng Lumber Yard and after moving to Marathon, he worked at First Marathon Coop. Ron retired in 2011.

Survivors include his daughter, Sara McVay and husband John; son, Brian “Buck” Lubeck and wife, Betsy; grandchildren: Jackson, Mia and Scarlett McVay; and Briggs and Bennett Lubeck; his sister, Vickie Jacobsen and husband, Jim; and many friends.
