Reese throws out first pitch

Jim Reese, the patriarch of baseball in Storm Lake, threw out the first pitch for the Storm Lake Whitecaps game against Sioux Falls last Thursday at Memorial Field. The 91-year-old Reese was instrumental in the Storm Lake youth baseball program and also was an important figure in the development of Memorial Field.
