Kraemer fans 17 batters as Alta-Aurelia downs SEV

Abby Kraemer pitched a four-hitter and struck out 17 batters, raising her state-leading total to 178, as Alta-Aurelia got past Southeast Valley 6-3 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday.

The Warriors scored two runs in the first inning and two more in the second to grab an early 4-1 lead and never looked back.

The team had seven hits. Brittany Turnquist had two singles, while Alicia Turnquist had two hits, including a solo home run. Rowan Kolpin smacked a two-run homer, and Lily Peterson delivered an RBI single and scored two runs.
