Storm Lake gets first softball win at Hull in 7 years

Storm Lake scored two runs in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth to pull away as the Tornadoes beat Western Christian 9-6 on Monday to win at Hull for the first time since 2010.

The Tornadoes scored two runs in the second inning and one in the third to take a 3-2 lead. Each team scored two runs in the fifth before Storm Lake plated four runs in the sixth.

Storm Lake finished with 11 hits in the game. Nora Seaman, Kaylee Oehler, Jaley Butler and Skylar Cole all had two hits apiece for the Tornadoes, now 5-3 overall.
