PAC/L-M one run better than Emmetsburg in non-league game

Shea Ruffridge had two hits and scored all three runs to help Pocahontas Area/Laurens-Marathon get past Emmetsburg 3-2 in a nonconference game on Tuesday at Pocahontas.

The Indians had only four hits in the game — two singles by Ruffridge, an RBI double by Jace Davidson and an RBI single by Chase Boeve.

Braden Ehn was the winning pitcher. He allowed five hits and two runs, walked one and struck out three in 61⁄3 innings. Christian Davidson recorded a strikeout for the final out to get the save and preserve the win.
