Newell-Fonda tops Ridge View in non-league game

Newell-Fonda’s R.J. Rojas at first base during their

R.J. Rojas went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs, and Cody Voss and Bryce Coppock combined to pitch a three-hitter as Newell-Fonda won its fifth game in a row with an   11-2 triumph over Ridge View on Monday at Fonda.

The Mustangs scored two runs in the second inning, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and six more in the sixth inning.

The team had nine hits in the game. Rojas had two singles and a double. Reed Kruse added two hits and drove in a pair of runs.
