Garrigan edges PAC/L-M by half point for boys team title

Every place mattered in the Sioux Central Invitational boys track and field meet on Monday night.

In what was as close of a meet as you could get, Algona Garrigan edged Pocahontas Area/Laurens-Marathon by half a point to win the meet in Sioux Rapids.

Garrigan totaled 144.5 points. PAC/L-M scored 144. Sioux Central was third with 141 and Newell-Fonda fourth with 67. Nine teams participated.
