Storm Lake boys beat St. Ed’s tennis team

Storm Lake’s boys tennis team beat St. Edmond’s at Fort Dodge Friday, 6-3.

“The players showed a lot more patience tonight vs. St. Eds, winning 6-3,” said Storm Lake coach Val Rosenthal. “They were more consistent and were better at picking the right time to approach.  Max Bounheuang, Phuong Hoang and Nang Khang had wins in both singles and doubles.  Brayden Hoops played well but lost in a tie-breaker. We will focus on improving in every match and practice. Our season record is 1-1.

Next match is against Cherokee at home on Monday and then Spirit Lake at home on Tuesday.
