Offense struggles in BVU’s twin-bill loss to Hamline

Buena Vista was looking to bounce back following its first two losses of the season, but the Beavers struggled to get much going offensively during 8-3 and 14-0 setbacks to Hamline University inside of US Bank Stadium on Monday in Minneapolis.

The Beavers scored two runs in the second inning of the opener to take a 2-1 lead.  Parker Truesdell drove in the first run with a groundout before Peyton Renning scored on a wild pitch.

Hamline scored seven unanswered runs to hold an 8-2 lead.
