Help singers bound for Carnegie Hall

Buena Vista University vocal students are going to New York City over spring break to perform in Carnegie Hall and some of the kids need help paying for it. “The cost of the trip keeps going up,” says soprano and Storm Lake High School graduate Veronica Tapia. With a price tag of $1,150, they’re selling CDs of their choir music and asking family and friends for help. Among the Storm Lakers going are Evan Grant, Emily Johnson, Jeff Khamphasouk, Linda Torres and Hunter Schmitt. The trip runs from March 20-27.
