SL recovers from slow start to beat South Central Calhoun

After a slow first quarter, Storm Lake used a 23-13 spurt in the second quarter to take control of the game as the Tornadoes went on to beat South Central Calhoun 66-45 in a nonconference game last Thursday.

South Central Calhoun held a 14-12 lead after the first quarter, but Storm Lake took the lead for good at 21-19 early in the second period. The Tornadoes went into the locker room with a 35-27 lead at halftime. It was 53-37 after three quarters of play.
