Big second quarter lifts PAC/L-M past Sioux Central

Pocahontas Area/Laurens-Marathon used a 24-9 surge in the second quarter to take control of the game and the Indians went on to defeat Sioux Central 74-68 last Thursday at Pocahontas.

Sioux Central held a 17-12 lead after the first quarter, but PAC/L-M took a 36-26 lead at halftime. It was 53-43 heading into the fourth quarter.

Austin Roetman scored 26 points to lead PAC/L-M. Tyler Behrendsen added 13, while Jace Davidson and Cameron Callion each tallied 12. Braden Ehn scored nine points and Nathan Aljets two.
