Sioux Central pulls away in second half to beat CC-E

Chase Jessen scored 14 points to lead three players in double figures and Sioux Central outscored Clay Central-Everly 45-29 in the second half to come away with a 70-60 win in a nonconference game last Thursday at Everly.

Clay Central-Everly held a 12-10 lead after the first quarter and led 31-25 at halftime, but Sioux Central took a 43-40 lead into the fourth quarter.

Prestan Samson scored 12 points for the Rebels while Hunter Decker added 11. Brady Rusk and Logan Grote each had eight, and Caden Krager added seven.
