BVU women’s comeback comes up short to Loras

Beavers fall, 58-53

Buena Vista trailed by as many as 17 points, but cut the deficit down to only two late in regulation, but Loras sank three free throws down the stretch to hang on for a 58-53 victory last Saturday at Siebens Fieldhouse.

Jasmine Demers finished with her third career double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for BVU. Jordan Tynes added 10 points and eight rebounds.

BVU struggled from the field, shooting just 28 percent, including 7-of-29 from beyond the 3-point arc.
