Buena Vista women break even in pair of home games

Jasmine Demers scored a career-high 29 points for Buena Vista, but that performance wasn’t enough as the Beavers fell to visiting Grand View University 83-71 last Friday at Siebens Fieldhouse.

Demers scored nine of BVU’s first 12 points and made 11-of-18 from the field to go along with six rebounds and three assists. Jordan Tynes turned in her first career double-double for BVU, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Morgan Muhlbauer also chipped in with 11 points and grabbed five rebounds for BVU.
