Storm Lake played some of its best volleyball of the season in the Storm Lake Invitational last Saturday.

The Tornadoes won one of five matches. The team lost its first match to Cherokee 24-22, 21-8. Ariel Bozonie, Skylar Cole, Hannah Neumann and Jenna Neumann all had two kills.

Nora Seaman charted five set assists and Jenna Neumann added four. Katrina Chaiyawong led the team in digs with 11. Karlee Wiegert had five.Seaman went 6-for-6 in serving. Bozonie and Chaiyawong were each 5-for-5 and Wiegert was 5-for-6.
