Newell-Fonda spoils Senior Night for St. Mary’s

Kate Christiansen went 17-for-24 in hitting with 10 kills and was 12-for-13 in serving to help lead Newell-Fonda to a three-game win over Twin Lakes Conference rival Storm Lake St. Mary’s on Tuesday at St. Mary’s.

Game scores were 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Erin Gerke went 19-for-23 in hitting with seven kills for the Mustangs, now 11-14. Carli Grau was 12-for-13 with five kills and Olivia Larsen went 21-for-27 with five kills.

Morgan Lynch finished with 21 set assists. Lynch led in digs with 10. Gerke and Grau each had nine and Peyton Wilken seven. Larsen added five.
