Court to review relief for Richter

Cubbage sex predator case also taken up on appeal

Tracey Richter has been granted oral argument in front of the Iowa Court of Appeals for her application for post-conviction relief.

Richter — who was convicted of first-degree murder in 2011 for the murder of 20-year-old Dustin Wehde of Early — filed an application for post-conviction relief in April 2014, alleging her counsel was ineffective and state officals miscarried their prescribed duties during her murder trial.
