SL starts fast, loses momentum in Lakes setback to LeMars

Storm Lake got off to a good start, but then LeMars outscored the Tornadoes 17-6 to win game one and used that momentum to win games two and three and take a Lakes Conference volleyball match from the Tornadoes on Tuesday at Tornado Fieldhouse.

Game scores were 25-18, 25-6, 25-8.

Ariel Bozonie led Storm Lake in hitting, going 10-for-14 with four kills. Rachel Bozonie was 8-for-10 with three kills. Hannah Neumann and Karlee Wiegert were each 5-for-6 with two kills.
