Mustangs roll past Kingsley-Pierson

Newell-Fonda scored 42 unanswered points in the first half as the Mustangs rolled to a 48-13 win over Kingsley-Pierson in an 8-man district game played last Friday night at Newell.

The Mustangs scored two touchdowns in the first quarter and four more in the second period.

Austin Gerdes ran 54 yards for a touchdown to make it 7-0. Nat Pedersen then caught a 36-yard pass from Reed Kruse for a 13-0 lead.
