Erie Street work delayed because of wrong colors

The Erie Street CDBG street renovation will be delayed for another week, as one of the city’s subcontractors provided the wrong color of block that would serve as the road’s base.

City Manager Jim Patrick opened a public hearing on the progress the city’s contractor—Hulstein Excavating of Edgerton, Minn. — is making on the road. Patrick reported work is 40% complete and work has halted due to an improper color of block one of the city’s subcontractors provided.
