Aschenbrenners to share their love of butterflies and bugs at Albert City Public Library
Keri Aschenbrenner started hunting with her uncle Tim in grade school along with several of her cousins. He was a serious collector. When Tim moved from Sioux City to Massachusetts he donated his collection to Iowa State. Keri's mother always had her collection hanging in their home when she was growing up. She said her mother, Keri's grandmother, would take them hunting when she was a child. Keri's mom grew up in West Bend. Keri and her husband, Jason, moved from Omaha, Neb. to Laurens when their son Ben started third grade and that’s when the bug and butterfly hunting began.
