Fitzgerald says Vilsack, Harkin would be key Clinton ag advisors

State Treasurer Mike Fitzgerald believes US Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and former Sen. Tom Harkin will be influential agricultural advisors to the Hillary Clinton administration if she defeats Donald Trump in November.

During a campaign for Clinton through Northwest Iowa Thursday, Fitzgerald told The Storm Lake Times that Clinton would “listen carefully” to Harkin and Vilsack, especially with regard to land use regulations and agriculture policy.
