Beavers fall behind 33-0 in 23-point loss

Buena Vista fell behind 33-0 in the first half and the Beavers couldn’t recover as No. 8-ranked St. John’s (Minn.) handed the Beavers a 40-17 setback on Hall of Fame Day last Saturday at J. Leslie Rollins Stadium.

The Johnnies took a quick 7-0 lead just over a minute into play on a 15-yard touchdown pass. They pushed the lead to 13-0 after the opening quarter following a 6-yard rush with 56 seconds left.
