SCC hands Alta-Aurelia first setback

Laney Stanton went 16-for-19 in hitting with seven kills and charted 11 digs, but it wasn’t enough as South Central Calhoun defeated Alta-Aurelia in three games last Thursday at Alta.

Game scores were 25-17, 25-9, 25-16.

Erin Lockin went 13-for-15 in hitting with five kills for the Warriors, now 3-1. Lauren Rohwer was 9-for-11 with four kills.

Annika Patton finished with 16 set assists. Mary Barnes tallied 10 digs. Lockin, Patton, Rohwer and Lily Peterson all added four.

Peterson went 11-for-11 in serving. Lockin was 9-for-9 and Patton 6-for-7.
