Disgusted and embarrassed are two words that come immediately to mind when considering the pathetic response by US presidential candidates to an invitation to discuss immigration issues at Buena Vista University on Aug. 29. The forum, sponsored by the non-partisan League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), invited all the Republican and Democratic candidates to participate in the forum, hosted by Des Moines Register Iowa columnist Kyle Munson.
