St. Mary’s can’t match West Bend-Mallard’s firepower in setback in regular season finale

West Bend-Mallard scored five runs in the second inning and plated seven more in the sixth to hand Storm Lake St. Mary’s a 13-1 setback in a nonconference game last Thursday night at Memorial Field.

The Panthers were held to two hits. Ryan Peters singled and Aaron Miller drove in a run with a double.

Peters suffered the loss. He allowed nine hits and six runs, one of which was earned, walked one and struck out one over four innings.
