SL swept in twin-bill by Glenwood, plays LeMars tough
Glenwood scored seven runs in the first inning of the opener and used a six-run second and an eight-run fifth in the nightcap to sweep a doubleheader from Storm Lake by scores of 13-0 and 15-5 last Friday at Glenwood.
Storm Lake managed only one hit in the opener — a single by Parker Lange.
Charlie Robbins got the loss. He allowed five hits and eight earned runs, walked six and struck out none in 12⁄3 innings. Ross Dewerff pitched in relief.
The Tornadoes had two hits in the nightcap. Chase Lange and Brayden Hoops each singled and drove in a run.
