Panthers use 9-run first inning to win big

Ryan Peters went 3-for-5, scored two runs and drove in three runs, and Aaron Miller allowed only three hits as Storm Lake St. Mary’s defeated Newell-Fonda 14-3 in a Twin Lakes Conference game last Friday night at Fonda.

St. Mary’s scored nine runs in the top of the first inning, then added three in the fourth and two more in the seventh.
