Newell-Fonda uses 12-run inning to beat Manson
Newell-Fonda scored 12 runs in the fourth inning to pull away from a 6-4 lead and the Mustangs went on to beat Manson Northwest Webster 18-4 in a Twin Lakes Conference game played on Tuesday night at Manson.
The game was the completion of a suspended game from Monday night.
Newell-Fonda scored two runs in the first inning and added four more runs in the second on an RBI single by Renee Maneman and a two-run single by Missy Morenz.
The 12-run fourth was highlighted by Mackenzie Mandernach’s two-run double.
