Sioux Central downs Newell-Fonda

Mac Prior pitched a three-hitter and struck out 15 batters, and Sioux Central scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull away from a one-run lead and went on to beat Newell-Fonda 6-1 on Wednesday night at Peterson.

The Rebels won despite getting only two hits. Nathan Leer and Franky Perkins each had a single.

Prior allowed three hits and no earned runs while walking four over seven innings of work.
